One of the better nursing bras i've owned
Posted by Tracy Lammers on May 2nd 2016
I've nursed all three of my kids, and if I've learned anything it's most nursing bras suck, especially if your on the larger size. That one maternity in the mall that carries them were not only uncomfortable they were poor quality as well, and the ones at a certain big box store only go up to a D. Go online to find anything larger and you're stuck wearing a huge granny bra that stick out of the shirt that was cut to be nursing friendly to begin with. Other than live in tanks (which aren't the most supportive) what's a girl to do? Thankfully I discovered the melinda G at a maternity boutique, tried it on, and found it to be one of the better ones i've come across so far. While i prefer padded bras (i don't like my nipples showing through my shirt), the strechy material is nice for the early stages of breastfeeding and the bra itself is comfy for an underwire bra. While the straps are still a little large for my liking, it's not as wide as most in my size range (38E). Coverage is still decent without looking like a granny bra, which is a HUGE plus. The only annoying this is the hook and eye fixture which does require two hands to close, but because the bra is stretchy I usually just pull it to the side instead. Not perfect, but compared to others out there i'd give it a solid 3 or a generous 4. It's worth a try.

Other reviews I read mentioned difficulty with the hook and eye closure. I can close it with one hand, although it isn't as easy as my other nursing bras. I usually have to look at it to get it closed. I love the fir though. It's very comfortable and supportive.
Great Underwire Bra

I read the other reviews and did not find the hook and eye closure as problematic as others. I am able to close it one-handed, although it does require that I look at it while closing it. This bra is extremely supportive and flattering. I would have rated it a 5 but it is visible under two of the tank tops I purchased at this site.
Worst bra ever

Not flattering at all. Not comfortable. Does not fit well. But it might have helped if the sent me the right size that I ordered. The package said 36 C but the bra said 34. It also has i hooks to try to unfasten when you need to nurse. Not practical. You almost need 2 hands. Not a fan.

Great fitting bra, wish it was lightly lined

Soft fabric, adjustable back strap and shoulder opening for nursing

This bra is a bit tight for a 36- even on the loosest clasp it just fits me. Also, it has some sharp edges inside that irritate the skin, and the clasp that opens the panel requires two hands. That said, it looks good and seems to be good quality.

I love this bra! It has been hard to find a good nursing bra that looked and felt good. This bra does both. The only slight down side is the hook and eye closure. You do need to use both hands to open or close the nursing part of the bra but it has not been a big deal for me.

This bra is excellent. I have tired on so many nursing bras but have had a hard time finding one that fit and was comfortable. I was hesitant to order a bra online but figured it was worth the chance. I'm so glad I did! The bra is not only comfortable its also nice to look at even in a bigger size (38E). Sometimes bras start to look old ladyish when you go up in sizes but this bra is comfortable and sexy (as nursing bras go). The only draw back is the hook and eye closure is a little tricky and does require two hands, but overall it is an excellent bra and well worth the purchase.
Forgot to mention why it's otherwise a great bra

I forgot to mention that the reason I do like it is that the bra has a three clasp closure in the back which is nice for extra support. Also you can adjust the shoulder straps at the front of the shoulder instead of having to stretch your arms to the back or even take off your bra to adjust, which I've had to do with other nursing bras. All the extra adjusting makes the bra very supportive where other non-padded, light support bras have failed. If the manufacturer could just get a better clasp instead I'd the eye-hook for nursing then this would be the best bra I've had nursing 4 babies over the years.
